Residents Action Group

February 29th, 2008 | Posted by admin

One of the useful things to come out of Thursday’s meeting was the idea of a Residents Action Group. We’ll be working on the set-up for this over the weekend. Watch this space! A fuller account of this very positive meeting will follow…

We note that people keep talking about “Skydock” as being responsible for these explosions. We’d just like to point out again that “Skydock” does not exist as a company. According to Companies House, it was dissolved in 2005. The present nuisance is therefore the work not of a company but of just one man…

The “Open Letter” in the Rasen Mail

This is the full text of David Humpage’s open letter to Mr Briggs, replying to his “statement” last week: Dear Mr Briggs, Last Wednesday in the Rasen Mail you published a statement as to why it’s perfectly OK that the blasts from your Faldingworth test site should annoy and inconvenience hundreds of people. More misery…

It is reported that, whilst workmen were repairing previous damage to the ceiling in one resident’s home, the 10.55 blast was so powerful that it opened […]

Edward Leigh at the Public Meeting

February 9th, 2008 | Posted by admin

At the public meeting held on 8th February at the Newtoft Social Club our MP, Mr Edward Leigh, gave a very strong and heartening endorsement of our efforts, together with a ringing denunciation of Mr Briggs’s operation. Mr Leigh stated in no uncertain terms that the Faldingworth site should be closed to testing activities forthwith, […]

Hello to all sufferers of the Faldingworth activities!

Following the public meeting, a number of us realised that we were not alone and that much could be achieved if we only work together to stop the nuisance which has been plaguing us. This site is the first result of this new spirit of collaboration. Your comments are welcome. Enjoy!
