It seems that Mr Briggs may have tried to head-off criticism by relocating some of his bangs to a different part of his site.

Though, after the huge explosions last Tuesday, he had promised the council (and residents) that there would be no more tests that week, there were in fact six more explosions on Wednesday   -   this is the level of truthfulness to be expected from this operation.

The bangs were reported in Newtoft as much smaller than Tuesday’s. However, it now seems that Spridlington may be the new target, as a number of residents there report “huge” bangs of the kind that have become normal in the Newton and Toft area.
