PUBLIC MEETING, Thurs 28th Feb 8.00pm, Faldingworth village hall.
Come and voice your concerns! Make your opinion felt!
We are promised many councillors and staff from West Lindsey, press, television, possibly our MP Mr Edward Leigh once more.
We need a good turn-out for this one!!!
Do you think the quake earlier today was catalysed by these underground explosions causing unsettling of whatever fault-line is involved????
Mark
With 200+ Earthquakes in the UK every year, does that mean that bombs are the cause of them? No. It’s a natural thing that happens all the time.
Also, what is the problem with the noises? Barely noticeable unless your stood out listening to them and recording the times at what they happen. It’s not like the bangs and other noises are happening at unreasonable hours.
Do you ever see people who live near an Airport/Airbase complaining about the noise? They’ve come to terms with what is happening around them and either accept it, or move.
Mike.
Reply to “Mike”:
Mmm. We’d guess you either don’t live round here or you work for the alleged “Skydock”.

Who mentioned earthquakes? We didn’t.

They’re bloody loud and they knock our houses down. That do?
>Barely noticeable unless your stood out listening to them and recording the >times at what they happen.
Only if you haven’t got ears.
>It’s not like the bangs and other noises are happening at unreasonable >hours.
Some of us work at home. Some of us are on nights and need to sleep. Presumably you can’t imagine anyone who isn’t like you?
>Do you ever see people who live near an Airport/Airbase complaining >about the noise?
Frequently.
>They’ve come to terms with what is happening around them
They shouldn’t. Nobody should. Or do you want everything to stay the same for ever?
>and either accept it,or move.
Ah, the old “if you don’t like it, move” one. Well actually, we were here first. Some of us have been here for a long time.
You may have been brought up to shut up and do what you’re told. We weren’t. Growing up is good.

There is a lively discussion going on our 9/11 message boards all about the earthquake. Nobody’s saying it was connected with Faldingworth with any certainty. Just pragmatic media sceptics mulling over covert possibilities of a privatised ‘enemy wihin’.
Here’s the thread
